Our Story

A kitchen built on generations of flavour

Zaaika was born from a grandmother's recipe book and a chef's restless ambition. Founded by Chef Meera Pillai, our kitchen marries the ancient culinary wisdom of India — from the clay ovens of Rajasthan to the coconut coasts of Kerala — with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.

We believe Indian cuisine is not a single story but a thousand distinct ones. Every dish we serve carries the memory of a region, a family, and a tradition passed down with love and exactitude.

The experience

Spice Mastery

Every spice blend is ground fresh daily in our kitchen. Our masalas are crafted from whole spices sourced directly from farmers in Kerala, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.

Clay & Copper

We cook in traditional clay pots and copper vessels, preserving the ancient alchemy that makes Indian food irreplaceable — slow-cooked flavours no modern pan can replicate.

Farm to Table

Our vegetables come from organic farms within 100 km of the restaurant. Our paneer is made in-house each morning, and our dairy is sourced from free-range Gir cows.

We welcome guests Tuesday through Sunday for both lunch and dinner service. Private dining rooms are available for celebrations, corporate events, and family gatherings.
